stashcat has an account password and an encryption password. Depending on which password you want to reset, please perform the corresponding follow step:
- Account password: You can reset your account password via the Forgot account password link on the following website: https://app.stashcat.com
If you do not receive an account password reset email, please check the following:- The e-mail address you enter must be the e-mail address with which you are registered.
- Please check the spam or junk folders of your email inbox. Since the reset email is sent system-side, some email programs might categorize you as spam.
- Encryption password: You can reset your encryption password after logging in to the web client using the Forgot encryption password? button.
Important
If you reset your encryption password, you will have to request a new key from the people you are talking to in order to read the content.
