Data Protection and Data Security

Privacy

stashcat is developed under strict consideration of the “principle of data economy”” – common approaches are “Privacy by Design” or “Privacy by Default”. Users are only required to enter the data necessary for communication. stashcat does not aks for access to the contact book of the device used at any time, but only accesses the internal contact books of the organization.

Data Security of the Software

stashcat is developed with the highest standards of security and data protection. Our mentioned end-to-end encryption according to the “Advanced Encryption Standard” in the variant AES-256 is compliant to the BSI standard “BSI-TR-02102”.

Data Security of the Hardware (for Cloud Variant)

stashcat GmbH offers further protection by operating the server in a German data center with an ISO-certified access concept. Among other things, the server rooms of stashcat GmbH are equipped with a multi-level physical access control. A CCTV system monitors and logs every access 24/7 and the data is forwarded to a NOC, which reacts immediately to any anomalies if necessary. In addition, there are systems for emergency power, climate control and regular checks for preventable fire loads.
